Remembering……
Neither society, nor the majority of adopters who hold the child in their arms want to confront the agony of the parent from who’s arms that same child was taken. No matter the circumstance, they are but people too. Where empathy and support by society have failed in it’s duty.
A heart breaking isn’t always as loud as a bomb exploding.
Sometimes, it could be as quiet as a feather falling
And the most painful thing is, nobody hears it except you.

Missing You with Love & Hope
As we awake and open our eyes
For a second we forget, and then
A feeling of sadness takes over
When we remember all over again.
Throughout the day we try to stay busy
To keep all thoughts of you at arm’s length,
But we find you are always with us
And somehow that knowledge
Gives us strength
Then as the evening draws to a close
When we are preparing ourselves for bed,
“I miss you so much all the time”
Is the last thought to enter our head.
Letting you know that whilst we are apart
There is never a moment
You are far from our heart
